Every year, Genesys employees make a difference in our communities with programs driven by our passions: from building homes with Habitat to Humanity, supporting low income and homeless families, mentoring disadvantaged students, raising money for cancer and diabetes research and easing the pain of childhood diseases. Our CEO Paul Segre believes, “Living Customer Experience every day means serving communities and causes that give employees the opportunity to literally ‘Make A Difference’ in the world.” It’s a core Genesys value that we put into action every day.
In the fall of 2014, we took on our largest program to date – taking our annual food drive global to “feed the world.” We are beyond proud – but not surprised – of our employees generosity.
During the month-long food drive, employees donated over four tons of food – that’s 8,032.1 lbs. to be exact – raised tens of thousands of dollars, and volunteered over a hundred hours in our communities!
It truly was a global effort and success. In Europe, across eight countries, employees donated both food and funds. In North America, we volunteered and donated coast to coast. In APAC, due to the overwhelming donations from our India office, we provided a 30-day supply of food to a local orphanage.
Take a look at some of the highlights from our campaign!
Looking back on 2014, we are proud of the generosity so many of our employees have shown, of the things we have accomplished and of the positive impact we have been able to make on the people and world around us.
In 2015, you will find even more Genesys employees out in the community working hard every month of the year to make a difference locally, around the world.
